Comments: Summer Lake Hot Springs have been in their current setup for close to a century, the main pool house being built in 1927--and still standing today. Like many bathhouses built in this era it was billed for its therapeutic qualities, but also used for the more common tasks of shaving, bathing, and laundry.

Currently the poolhouse is open to the public from 8am to 9pm for $5 per person, with childern under 6 being admitted for free. Overnight guests of the hot springs have 24 hour access to the pool. There is also a horse shoe pit and disc golf course on the grounds.

With several cabins that can be reserved, plus RV and camping sites, Summer Lake Hot Springs makes a nice stop before traveling on to explore the far eastern corner of Oregon.
